I'm back from Road to the Horse. Everything went great, sales were good, I met a lot of really nice horse people, and was also able to see a little of the show that was awesome! Now it's time to get ready for my next showw in Louisville, and I should have my latest painting (Wild Horses) ready to take with me, so be sure to come by my booth at Cherokee Triangle Park and see it. I will also have it in Giclee print and 5 X 7 greeting cards for sale.

I just finished another painting. It's called "Wild Horses" and it will be released in Giclee, my print for 2012.
The painting was a very good challenge for me as an artist. It was being able to find the right photos to work from, combining them, and making the reflection in the eye look natural from up close and from a distance.

I just finished the first new painting of new year. It is titled "Wildfire". I've always love the song by Micheal Martin Murphy, and it is the perfect name for the painting. I'm getting ready for "Road to the Horse" and will be busy restocking my inventory for the show, but I hope to start another painting soon.

I just finished another painting. I titled it "Far Away Eyes". I really liked the horses eyes in the photo I worked from, I thought they looked very soft and gentle.
Next, I plan to start on a Christmas card for the Fall season to sell.
Look for my booth soon at St. James Art Show in Louisville, the first weekend in October.
